What is the Ford V8-60?
Steve describes it as a separate, smaller Flathead made from 1937 to 1940: 60 horsepower and 136 cubic inches, against 221 for the standard engine. It was the economy engine in passenger cars and is similar inside, with smaller valves, pistons, crank and rods.
