How does Ed convert a Ford Flathead to full-flow oil filtering?

The pump's output is routed through a hose outside the pan to a remote spin-on filter and then into the engine, so all the oil is filtered under pressure. Ed says the original canister filtered only about 10 percent, was not pressurized and drained back overnight, giving a dry start each morning.
