What makes a marine Mallory distributor different?
Ed shows a marine Mallory distributor made for a Chevrolet. It has a heavier hold-down clamp than the usual spring clamps and a filter screen on the fresh air going into the point area, because the points spark and gasoline fumes can build up in a boat's bilge. He says the engine would also have a spark arrestor on the carburetor.
