What combustion-chamber volume suits a supercharged Flathead?

Steve says a supercharged Flathead wants about 8:1 compression, which typically means chamber volumes around 75 to 80 cc depending on displacement. Head makers publish the volume and the cam lift a head will accept; the Offenhauser head shown is stamped 425 and takes just over 4/10 inch of lift. Of the two heads compared, he prefers the one around 73 cc for supercharging.
