How did Ed fit an alternator and dual belts on a 1953 Flathead running three twos?
Ed says nobody makes a mount for three twos, an alternator and dual belts on this engine, where the distributor sits offset so the fan belts clear it. He made a one-inch spacer to raise the mount and move it all forward an inch, moved the alternator up front instead of further back, and sawed a chunk off the alternator so there was room for the carburetor.
