Why fit a dual-belt crank pulley on a Flathead?

Because the customer wants to add air conditioning. Ed fitted a dual-belt pulley on the bottom so one groove is for the fan belt and the other will be for the air conditioner. The customer can add the air conditioner and an alternator later.
