What bell housing and clutch advantage does the 1949–1953 Flathead have?
Barry recalls that the 1949 to 1953 engine has a bell housing that is easier to adapt, and Ed agrees. It has a separate bell housing and a different, bigger flywheel, so a 10 and a half or 11-inch clutch can be fitted.
