How much power does it take to drive the supercharger, and what belt handles it?

Joe uses a single six-rib belt, which from the side just looks like one belt. He says the six-rib belt is equivalent to four V-belts, that it takes about 50 horsepower to run the blower on his car at full output, and that a 1-inch belt with all those ribs will transmit that much power.
