How do you reach the torque converter bolts on an early Flathead with a C4 conversion?
Ed plans to cut a small hole, maybe 4 inches by 3 inches, in the bottom of the rear clutch cover section, which on this engine is part of the oil pan, not in the oil-holding part of the pan itself. Once the converter is in place, the four torque converter bolts stick out there, and the hole lets him get a wrench in to tighten them.
