What should you do when a Flathead vibrates badly and has a miss?

Ed describes a customer's 1941 Ford sedan that had a really bad vibration and a miss. When Ed ran it, it vibrated so badly you could hardly run it, so he told the owner to stop and not run it, because it would come apart.
