Who was K R Wilson, and who used these engine stands?

Steve says the stand was made by a company called K R Wilson, with KRW cast into the foot. In the early days of the Flathead, K R Wilson was known as a high-quality tool manufacturer, and Ford dealerships typically had K R Wilson tools and engine stands. His stand is not perfectly restored but is in very good working condition, and he says you do not see them very often.
