What is a supercharger doing for a Flathead?
Steve says the aim is to help the engine breathe, especially on the intake side, by putting a little pressure behind the fuel and air, and that this gives a good boost in performance. He does not think the combination is unusual, since his kit is patterned after the one Joe Abbin developed 30 years ago and quite a few similar engines have probably been built.
