Why should a blown Flathead have a pressure gauge on the intake?

Ed likes a pressure gauge on the intake so the actual boost is known. He says that when he asks people how much pressure they have in the intake, they answer with how much the blower is overdriven, which does not tell him what he wants to know. Steve predicts about seven pounds at 5,500 rpm and would be willing to go to 5,800, on an engine with a SCAT crank, SCAT rods and Mahle forged pistons.
