What did a smaller blower pulley do for the supercharged Flathead?

It added about one pound of boost and about 10 horsepower. Robert King reads 8.6 pounds after the change, against about 7 before, and estimates that at 10 pounds the engine would be in the 315 to 320 horsepower range.
