What does the valve train look like inside an ARDUN head?
With the cover off, Steve shows long rocker arms on separate intake and exhaust sides, worked by push rods that come up through holes in the head. He says one problem with the original design was how heavy the valve train was, and that Don Orosco and then Don Ferguson improved it. The hemispherical chamber needs the valves set at an angle, which is why the intake and exhaust valves are so far apart.
