Can ARDUN heads be used on a relieved Flathead block?

No. Steve says a block with a factory relief, or one a hot rodder has relieved, is not a candidate because that area cannot be sealed. Even on a block that has not been relieved, the metal between the valve seat and the cylinder bore is very thin, which made a good seal hard to get on the early conversions.
