What is done with the unused exhaust passages in the block on an ARDUN engine?
On Steve's Don Ferguson block, all the exhaust passages in the block are filled with a pour-in product that sets very hard and stays put, the kind racers sometimes use to fill water jackets. The ports are solid, so oil from the exhaust push rod holes runs into the valve valley just as it does on the intake side.
