Do ARDUN heads change the Flathead's cooling passages?
Not in the block; it uses a stock-type water pump. The difference is that none of the exhaust goes through the block any more, and the head is large with a bit more coolant capacity. Steve says the key is getting the heat out of the block and into the head, and that heat and breathing were the two things the designers set out to fix for heavy-duty trucks.
