What does a spun Flathead rod bearing look like?
Ed shows the damaged bearing and rod together. The bearing spun on its back side, the babbitt came loose, and it left a big groove. He estimates that rod is about 5 thousandths bigger than the one next to it, and says there is a pair like that.
