What limits intake flow on ARDUN heads?

The push rods. The intake port narrows where the push rod comes up through the head, and the push rods can only come up where the original valves were, because the heads are adapted to an existing Flathead block. Steve says this is not a criticism: he thinks the designers did an amazing job making it all work.
