Does an ARDUN conversion change the front of a Flathead engine?
No. Steve says the heads do nothing different to the front of the block, so the water pumps, the distributor drive and his own blower pulley setup carry over from the supercharged engine tested earlier. The water pumps are stock 8BA-style with the stock pulley removed and center hubs pressed on. A steel hub goes on the crank with a key and the aluminum pulley bolts to it. The tensioner is the same, and the timing cover is a Don Ferguson part.
