What had to be machined to fit the blower manifold on the ARDUN engine?
Two things. The Don Ferguson valley cover has ribs that fit in open space under the four-barrel intake, but the supercharger manifold runs the full length of the engine, so the ribs were machined off. The back of the manifold was machined as well. When filmed, the runners still did not line up because the manifold could not sit far enough back; Steve drilled a test hole, found plenty of casting, and planned to have more removed.
