How do you torque head nuts that a socket cannot reach on ARDUN heads?
With an offset adapter. Several nuts have no straight shot for a socket, so Steve uses an adapter with a 12-point end and a square drive whose centers are 2 inches apart. It adds 2 inches of leverage, so the torque wrench has to be set lower to give the same torque at the nut; the correction is a simple ratio of the wrench length with and without the adapter. He adds that you must remember to set the wrench back for the other nuts.
