How are the rocker stands and collars set up on ARDUN heads?
The rocker's roller should sit right over the tip of the valve. The holes through the rocker stands are drilled a little oversize, so each stand can be moved slightly left or right before it is tightened. Moving a stand changes the side clearance of the rocker, which is taken up by collars and thrust washers: once the stand is placed, the clearance is set to 30 thousandths of an inch and the collars are locked.
