What was rebuilt or replaced on the outside of this 1938 Flathead?

The carburetor and fuel pump are new. The original distributor was rebuilt, with the points set and everything lubricated, and Ed rebuilt the starter. The engine is running on 12 volts in the video, and Ed says it will run on 6 just the same.
