Why does Ed say this Flathead is his last?

Because of the time it took to find parts. Ed says that as far as he is concerned right now this is his last motor: he cannot spend that long looking for parts, and he lost count of the hours on a computer trying to find rod bearings, main bearings and other pieces, and deciding what to do with the engine.
