What does a simple control panel for running an engine at home need?
Steve's panel has a switch for the ignition, a switch for the electric fuel pump and a momentary switch for the starter, plus a mechanical oil pressure gauge. He made the frame from 1/2 inch square tubing on a bracket that bolts to the back of a small block or big block Chevy and is dished out to clear the flywheel or flex plate. The water temperature gauge from his last test went back in the car.
