Do you need a water temperature sensor on the engine for a dyno test?
Not for Steve's dyno. He built the water outlet manifold for the dyno test with a place for a temperature sensor, then learned that the dynamometer equipment has its own water temperature probe and does not rely on the engine, so he plugged the port.
