Is a 750 carburetor too big for a 289 cubic inch ARDUN Flathead?
Probably, Steve says. With its bore and stroke the engine is right around 289 cubic inches, and for the street he would probably use a 650. He is using the 750 because the dyno plan is to break the engine in and test it with the four barrel, then put the supercharger on, and he thinks the 750 is the right size for the blower setup.
