How close can a Flathead get to full-flow oil filtering?
Steve's block has been modified to come about as close as it gets: oil from the block goes into the filter inlet and back to the block from the outlet, which filters everything but the rear main, fed by a passage right off the oil pump. He says you can make it completely full flow by modifying the pump and bringing a line out of the side of the block. His oil pressure fitting is on the outlet side, reading the pressure going into the engine.
