Why run race fuel in the supercharged ARDUN engine on the dyno?
Not for more power. Steve runs 112 octane race fuel to keep the engine safe from detonation during the test. He says this much boost on this engine is not practical on the street because you would need race gas all the time, so a street version would have to be tamed way down on boost.
