How is the ARDUN combustion chamber different from a Flathead's?
The ARDUN head has a hemispherical chamber with the valves in the head. Steve says it is really a different engine from the top end up: bottom ends have not changed much in 80 or 90 years, and it is the cylinder heads and the control of air and fuel that make engines efficient and powerful. The ARDUN head flows way better than the Flathead's valves in the block.
