Why did Steve stop testing at 416 horsepower?

Steve agrees there is more there; his prediction shows maybe another 10 or 15 horsepower through tuning, and he says Ed is right about how to get it. But he is not going to run race gas on the street, so chasing the last bit is a moot point to him. For the street the blower would need a bigger belt and probably about three pounds of boost. The pulls were cut off at 5,800 to 5,900, with data all the way through 5,900, a lot for a Flathead that normally goes 3,000 stock.
