camshaft · FF-0487

What camshaft is in Steve Coppock's ARDUN engine?

A flat tappet cam from Bullet Racing Cams with 232 degrees of duration at 50 thousandths and 350 thousandths lobe lift, the same on intake and exhaust. On a Flathead the cam lift is the valve lift, less the lash, but the ARDUN has rocker arms of two lengths, about 1.37 ratio on the intake and about 1.2 on the exhaust. Steve multiplies the lobe lift by the ratio to get about 450 and 420 thousandths. He calls it a nice, not aggressive cam.
