How was the top RPM chosen for the ARDUN dyno pulls?

The stop RPM has to be decided before each test. They were looking for the point where the engine started to roll over; the curves were still rising on horsepower, so they ran the test further. As Steve remembers it they started around 5,500, went to 5,800 and ended at 6,000.
