Do the two banks of a Flathead run at different coolant temperatures?
Steve has never checked. A Flathead has two completely separate cooling circuits, with two water pumps and two jackets that meet only in the radiator. It is easy to check because there are two places for a sensor, and some had two sensors averaged together electrically. He would not be surprised to see a little difference from one bank to the other.
