Is the crankshaft centered between the two banks of a Flathead block?
Steve thinks the viewer is right that it is not dead center, but does not remember the details. Asked if that changes the chamber volume, he thinks not, because other differences in the block make it work out: one bank of cylinders is lower than the other, and the pistons still come to top dead center the same on all eight. Barry suggests different deck heights may make up for it; Steve says he could be right.
