How is the windage tray mounted and stiffened in the oil pan?

After the scan, the sides were brought in and some edges trimmed. Tabs on the sides are bent up and welded to the pan, which lets the tray be fished into the pan and then aligned with a small fixture Steve designed. Bead rolls in the tray add rigidity so it does not vibrate.
