What rear end gearing did the Ford V8-60 cars use?
Ed says a ring and pinion from a car with the Ford 60 motor, 1937 to 1940, would have been a 4.44. Barry asks whether they were geared much higher and Ed agrees. Ed remembers going to junkyards to get those gears for their dirt track cars with 60 horsepower Flathead motors.
