How does the carrier go back into a banjo rear end housing?
The carrier is assembled first and then put in the housing. The side tubes slide over the axles with a bearing, a tapered hub with a key, and another piece on the end, which is what you see on the end of the brake drum. The brake drum goes on the spline at each end.
