What happened to the distributor on the supercharged Flathead's first dyno start?
After the first start the distributor was found pulled up out of the block a long way, which is not where it is supposed to be and should not have happened. They thought it was probably no longer engaged, took the cap off to see whether it would rotate, and found top dead center with number one at the bottom, rolling the engine with a 5/8 12-point wrench. The distributor had to go back down in its hole before anything else was done.
