How did they get the last few degrees of advance into the supercharged Flathead?

By turning the distributor a little at a time and running it again. One change made it better, going the right direction, and the next turn advanced it more. They still needed about four degrees more advance, and the distributor may have been against its stop on the block; Steve says the flap wheel machining he did there was not uniform. He also says he does not want the distributor coming back out again.
