How is the back of the 1946 Ford three-speed held together?
Behind the collar, all the bolts are safety wired so they do not come apart. The piece that goes on the back carries the motor mounts, with mounting ears. Once the parts are in through there you cannot get them out; they go up against the case and are captured.
