What holds the shafts in place in the 1946 Ford three-speed?
A pin goes through the case and through the shafts and holds them all together once they are in. There is a specially made hole for driving the pin out, and a little cotter pin on the end. It keeps everything located at the same angle; Barry and Ed call it pretty crude.
