What is the next step when the 1946 Ford three-speed still will not come apart?
The gear slides forward only so far and then stops. There seems to be something inside with springs, keys and locks. The way out is through the bottom: pull that pin out, drop it down, take the piece out and turn it, and it should come tumbling out. The video ends before that is done.
