How does Ed make a removable plug for the early Flathead oil galley?
It is just a 3/8 bolt with a little weld on it. The weld goes on the back side, and you machine it as much as you want so it drives in snug; the curved weld side sits against the side of the oil galley and seals it. To get it out, put a 9/16 wrench on it and turn it a little. A plug driven in cannot be pulled; you have to drill a hole in it and put a screw in it.
