How does Steve Coppock predict an engine's horsepower before a dyno test?
With Engine Analyzer Pro, modeling software that anybody can buy and that has been around a long time. Steve says the more you know about the engine you are modeling, the better the prediction. For the ARDUN heads he had them flow tested, so he knew the intake and exhaust flow, and he cc'd the chambers to know their volume; the other parameters can be measured or come with the parts. He expected the prediction to be very close.
