How did the naturally aspirated ARDUN compare with Steve's supercharged 8BA Flathead?
Essentially the same power. Steve recalls the supercharged 8BA tested in January made 290 horsepower at 8 pounds of boost and 300 at 9 pounds; the ARDUN made the same with no supercharger. That engine was never tested without the blower, but Steve guesses it would have been about 220 naturally aspirated, so the supercharger added about 80 horsepower.
